Strong Belief in themselves

idea posted by Mahalakshmi Subramanium QA/QC Manager

In my opinion an entrepreneur must have a healthy opinion of themselves and should pocesses a strong and assertive personality. They should be focused and determined to achieve their goals and believe completely in their ability to achieve them. They must be filled with full of energy and have an abundance of self motivation.

In addition to risk taking ability and self motivation, the enterpreneur should network people and discuss with them the business ideas

1)  Thinking different - 'out-of-the-box'.

2) Giving effect to 'long cherished idea' 3) Ability to take risk 4) being resourceful and having nack for networking with people 5) to be a leader to lead team made by him/her 6) have perseverance to reach the goal despite all odds.

Thinking out of the box gives innovative idea and originality. All inventions and discoveries are the thoughts came out of the box which others could not think.

Bellyfire

idea posted by Suryakumar Sharma Head/VP/GM-Client Servicing

An entrepreneur is one who has fire in his belly to chart out on his own. He is the one who is a dreamer and who wants to make his dream a reality. The initial steps are the steps that are difficult but like a child learning to walk – he has to overcome the obstacles and achieve the objective that he has set for himself.

Most of the time it’s an idea to innovate, redefine and give something better to the consumer or the society that triggers off the instinct in an entrepreneur to sow the seeds of an enterprise or a movement. In addition to this it also generates much needed employment.

Shri Dhirubhai Ambani – saw an opportunity in redefining textile industry in India – he set up a modern the textile plant and brought polyester fabrics under the brand name Vimal that was affordable, durable and within the reach of common man. He also brought the equity culture within the reach of common man in India.

Dr. Karsanbhai Patel - saw in those days the detergent powder was the product that was affordable by the rich and the middle class consumers were using soap flakes to wash their clothes (which was a cumbersome process) by launching an affordable detergent powder Nirma, he brought the usage of detergent powder in every home and eased the drudgery of washing clothes for the Indian woman.

The list is endless and all entrepreneurs have fire in their belly to do something that is unique & different that eases the life of a common man. This streak in them keeps the momentum going.

They Like Challenges !

idea posted by ujjval jain All roles for me

Its my personal observation & even what I have learned through many inspiring books regarding the subject, I take entrepreneurs as persons with all together different mindset. They like challenges, they are ready to go ahead; having the soul accountability for themselves & hence the very risk, for what they wish to plan & to execute on their own.

I find these people very resourceful with ego only for their business otherwise very down to earth & having a passion for the growth not in terms of money they earn but only in terms of business advancement & expansion.

I often, in my personal life, find such persons with an extra ordinary ability for networking which I believe to be very essential for business growth.

The only drawback is for start ups, which demands enormous hard work & a great persistence.
