Roles and responsibility for
Messaging Specialist for a Global IT Giant, Bangalore Chennai :
- Installation and configuration including upgrades from previous versions of Exchange. Advanced Mail flow Troubleshooting using SMTP Logs, Message Tracking, and Network Monitor Traces. Knowledge of mail flow in a mixed Exchange site
- Ability to analyze performance monitor logs to troubleshoot performance issues within Exchange
- Advanced Disaster Recovery Skills. Knowledge of ESEUTIL and ISINTEG for recovery purposes. Ability to understand information presented in database headers and checkpoint files

- Advanced knowledge of mail flow between servers, sites, and across connectors
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook Web Access including configuration, permissions, forms based authentication, SSL, firewall and DMZ configuration
- Knowledge of Inter-organizational Exchange synchronization and configuration
- Exchange client configuration and troubleshooting (Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007)
- Exchange 2007 knowledge
- Ability to work Blackberry Enterprise Server.
- Working knowledge of Live Communication Server 2003\2005\2007
- Working Knowledge of Active Directory.
- Public folder management
- Administer SMTP gateways and administer the Anti-Virus software
- Perform RCA for high severity problems and as requested by the customer.
